I am hoping someone can suggest something helpful for what I believe is tendon injuries by taking an antibiotic a week before a scheduled bladder suspension and hysterectomy at age 58. I question my GYN about the black box warning and if I could take a different antibiotic. She said she would only do the hysterectomy then. I had a prolapse uterus and bladder and after dealing with other remedies for 5 years with no success, one week before surgery had to go on this antibiotic. The doctor said she never had anyone come back to her with an issue concerning it. So I took it. Needless to say, I have had pain in wrists, shoulder, neck, tops of feet and just an overall achiness and immobility starting a few months after. I am unjabbed, take a multivitamin, am on no other meds other then inuprofin so i can move most days, in the morning. I am active at 60, but am desperate to find a natural alternative. Three drs act like I am the only one they have heard of with these issues since taking that antibiotic. I don’t know where else to turn.
