Tennessee Rep. Says ‘CDC Fraudulently Managed,’ Questions Vaccine Safety

Incoming Tennessee Republican Rep. Mark Green is under fire after posing the idea that vaccines are linked to autism. Green, who is also a physician, made the comments during a  town hall meeting. Additionally, Green questioned the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s stats on vaccines and side-effects.

“Let me just say this about autism,” Green said per Fox News sources. “I have committed to people in my community, up in Montgomery County, to stand on the CDC’s desk and get the real data on vaccines. Because there is some concern that the rise in autism is the result of the preservatives that are in our vaccines.”

“As a physician, I can make that argument, and I can look at it academically and make the argument against the CDC if they really want to engage me on it,” he continued.

He even stated that the CDC’s stats “maybe fraudulently managed.”

Most of the media were highly receptive and reasonable toward Green following his comments.

I’m kidding, most media sources completely melted down.

Green later said his comments were “misconstrued.”

“Those comments in the Tennessean have been misconstrued,” Green told the crowd at a town hall in Montgomery County. “I’ve vaccinated my own kids for goodness’s sake.”

But Green did find some supporters amidst the outrage.

“Vaccines take deadly, awful, ravaging diseases from horror to history,” U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander tweeted.

Green will represent Tennessee’s 7th congressional district.

“There appears to be some evidence that as vaccine numbers increase, rates of autism increase,” Green said. “We need better research, and we need it fast. We also need complete transparency of any data. Vaccines are essential to good population health. But that does not mean we should not look closely at the correlation for any causation.”

Let’s keep in mind, Green never said that vaccines cause autism. He merely questioned data and how its interpreted. As the United States moves more fascist in terms of “approved speech,” vaccines and other shunned subjects are consistently lambasted when brought up in any reasonable way. Eventually, this isn’t about your complex belief on vaccines, it’s about whether or not you kowtow the liberal line.

If you don’t recite the liberal agenda, expect to be lambasted from all angles. You might be ousted from your job. It’s the new world order.
