Vet Explodes Over Pet Vaccines While Others DO THIS
Thank you for this very important insight and truth. My dog broke out in a horrible skin disorder which I attribute to “demodectic mange.”This was in June of 2020. After much reading about all the different skin disorders that dogs can get, I just knew it was this. And the article said that all dogs have this. But it only manifests in dogs whose immune systems are compromised. And what, I asked myself, could have compromised my dog’s immune system? And all I could figure, aside from possible food sensitives, was too many vaccines. And I also thought about the monthly heart worm and flea preventative that I give her each month. The flea preventative guards against Lymes disease also. Yet my vet insists she get the Lymes vaccine as well. I really do think that between the number of vaccines she is getting every year and the 2 monthly preventatives that I give her, that’s why she came down with this mange. And according to the books, this demodectic mange is going to be a life long problem for her. My veterinarian doesn’t believe she has demodectic mange. I even took her to another vet who I have much respect for. And he said it’s just allergies!? So am I supposed to just keep treating her with antibiotics and anti allergens for the rest of her life? I have to have her vaccinated against rabies if the law is making it mandatory.
But I have a good mind to send some of these articles to my vet. Trouble is so many vet’s are so busy right now, they don’t have time to keep current. I feel I know more than they do, at least on this particular issue. But if I have to have her vaccinated, I am going to demand that she be vaccinated according to her weight. A small 30 lb dog shouldn’t be having to take the same dose as a large 125 lb dog. And I have noticed how she seems wiped out and depressed for a week after getting her yearly vaccines. This is an outrage that a vaccine that only needs to be given once in the lifetime, if then, is being made mandatory every 3 years! Thank you for your courage in being willing to protest this oppressive law which is putting our beloved pets in great jeopardy. It’s unfortunate that so many lawmakers are so lacking in courage to support pet owners, of which there are quite a few. For every 10 people here in the USA, 8 are pet owners. And those who are not are either too old, or they have jobs which prohibit them from being able to care for a pet. Good luck in your battle against this outrageous law!
