Florida Officials Say Flu Season Is Mild

If you go by the media, you probably think the flu is ravaging our nation. While in fact, the facts simply don’t support the media’s narrative in states like Florida, where the flu season is being determined as mild and/or moderate.

The Florida Department of Health is claiming 74 flu outbreaks across the estate. This has resulted in 11 hospitalizations and two deaths. Only two counties, Pinellas and Hillsborough, are experiencing moderate flu levels.

“So far we saw an increase at the start of the season, in November and December, but it’s actually decreased some since the end of December,” said Michael Wiese, an epidemiologist with the Hillsborough County Health Department, per Tampa Bay Times. “We have yet to hit the peak, which is generally in February.”

Although officials in other states are citing higher numbers, the greater variety of those flu cases are within the elderly communities.

The mainstream media push for flu shots is trucking along at a stunningly high rate.
