Flu Being Blamed For Florida School Shooting By News

The media has a way of intertwining agendas and narratives. If the media is pushing one narrative, it will often attempt to weave that ongoing narrative into a new narrative as a way to ride the coattails of the new, more amplified, narrative. Seem confusing?

Last week, a 19-year-old with mental issues gunned down his former schoolmates in Florida. The blame for  Nikolas Cruz’s actions has notably been pinned on guns by mainstream media (no surprises) even though it has been shown that the FBI completely dropped the ball and that Cruz was a known threat to the community. Cruz was also said to be on prescription medications. Both the FBI failures and the medication allegations have largely been avoided by MSM in favor of the more salacious and agenda-laden gun narrative.

However, the news is finally finding a possible new narrative in the murders. The New York Post claims that the flu could have led to Cruz’s instability, which potentially prompted his killing spree.

Using an article published on ABC News as evidence, the Post surmises that a quote from Cruz’s cousin, Kathie Blaine, where she discusses Cruz’s mom, Lynda, being checked in to a hospital for flu. Lynda would eventually pass away on November 1st from pneumonia. Blaine claimed that Lynda was perfectly healthy before coming down with the flu.

“Lynda was very close to them,” sister-in-law Barbara Kumbatovic told the Washington Post. “She put a lot of time and effort into those boys, trying to give them a good life and upbringing.

“I don’t think it [the massacre] had anything to do with his upbringing. It could have been the loss of his mom.”

The post ran the headline, “Mom’s flu death may have sent Florida massacre suspect over the edge,” based on the last quote. Rather than make the assertion that Nikolas was emotionally distraught from his mother’s passing, they weaved the flu into things realizing that flu deaths are another popular salacious-driven headline.

The MSM finally took a break from the myopic gun blaming only to resurface by blaming the flu. Maybe a flu shot would have saved everyone? I’m not sure how running this headline makes any sense other than just a pure attempt at click baiting the Internet and pushing the flu shot narrative on a subconscious level.
