Hartford Healthcare Admits It Gave Bad Vaccines

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is admitting that as many as 900 people potentially received bad vaccines. In light of this, the group is recommending new tuberculosis tests preceded by the second round of vaccines. The vaccines were reportedly stored improperly. The follow-up vaccine and tuberculosis test will be given at no charge.

According to Kentucky.com

The multispecialty group says the temperature fluctuations were found when HHC recently enacted a proactive auditing program for all its locations— Colchester, Vernon and other communities —that provide vaccinations.

The HHC says it will never happen again (comforting, we know).
