Arizona Mother Dies Suddenly From Pneumonia

A young mother has passed away in peculiar circumstances after suddenly falling ill without warning.

As reported by Fox 10 Phoenix, Elizabeth Boyd passed away on Wednesday only a few days following coming down with symptoms of the flu. The 44-year-old mother of six was considered to be perfectly healthy.

On Monday, her husband Steve took her to the hospital where she was diagnosed with pneumonia. Following that diagnosis, things took a turn for the worse. Elizabeth succumbed to symptoms of pneumonia. The family believes it could be the same strain of pneumonia which recently took another mother’s life, who was also an Arizona resident.

The family also stated that Elizabeth received a flu shot the week prior. In the less recent Arizona case, the mother reportedly did not have a flu shot.
