Woman Post Photos Of Dog Near Death Following Vaccines. Now She Is Asking For Change.

The rabies vaccine is a legally required pet vaccination. And most pet owners mindlessly follow the vet’s vaccine list without doing much research at all. Pet owners will go to great lengths to make sure that gluten is not in their dog’s diet, but tend to ignore vaccine ingredients. In many cases, such as the one below, things go wrong; badly wrong.

Rita McAuley Karrip posted a photo of her dachsund following a rabies shot. She posted it to her local news station’s timeline, WZZM out of Grand Rapids.

“My 7 year old Dapple Dachshund is fighting for her life and has been for over 3 weeks now. Within a day after getting her rabies vaccine updated, she began bleeding from her nose and had bruising on her stomach from internal bleeding. They told me to say goodbye.”

“Did you know how many pets are dying or going through what Lily is? Did you know there is scientific research that proves this but states are ignoring the science because it is a for profit vaccine and requiring it once or twice in a lifetime is a huge financial loss for vets and manufacturers.”

Of course, the post treatment has ran her $4000 already, which tells you about how much incentive the vet has to care about resolving the issue.

Karrip recommends that vets perform titer test on liters to determine if rabies immunity is already present so that the rabies shot can be passed on. She is asking for new state legislations. She is also pushing for vets to disseminate vaccine warning pamphlets so that pet owners know all the risks (sounds familiar, I know).
